Are you feeling uninspired or dis-satisfied with your current brand of choice?

Switching to a different nail brand can entice new clients, excite existing ones and get your nail taste buds tingling once again. After doing research on a variety of brands and deciding on the one that suits you and your clients, be sure to enroll on a conversion course for that specific brand so you can learn their ways and particular products.

When switching to another brand it is important to ask yourself the following questions to make sure you are making the right decision not only for you but your clients to:

  • Does the brand have a good reputation?

  • Is it current with on-trend shades and formulas?

  • Do the products compliment your clients’ lifestyles?

  • Does it regularly release new products?

  • Does the brand offer marketing materials?

All of these questions need to be considered when looking to move brands.

Although you are already a trained and qualified nail professional, different brands and systems often need to be used in a different way. It is important to remember that while a lot of the basic application and processes for performing a manicure or gel polish application may appear similar, techs need to be educated in the correct way for the new product line.

Brand conversions are so important and I would always recommend that a nail tech attends a conversion course if they are looking to start working with another brand. It will provide so many tips and advice, not only on product knowledge but also selling tips.

Due to the ever-evolving nature of the nail industry, it is important to remain up-to-date with any product developments and breakthroughs and to master services according to the manufacturer’s guidelines. If you decided not to sit a specific course associated with the product or system you are going to use, you are doing your clients a disservice while possibly invalidating your insurance.

The Creative Beauty Group stocks two well-known polish brands – Gel II and Entity Nails. We offer a variety of Nail Courses as well as products for sale. If you are interested in booking onto any of our Conversion courses, please call the education team on 01202 876734 or complete the form below:
