The Creative Beauty Group are proud to not only represent some of the most globally recognised brands, but also the fact that they are both vegan, and animal cruelty free.

Vegan v’s Cruelty Free – It is NOT the same thing!

In a nutshell, to be a vegan, and an ‘animal cruelty free’ product, the products during its time in the research and developing lab, must not been tested on animals, and not contain any animal ingredients, or animal-derived ingredients. Many by-products used in the beauty industry, sadly do; such as honey, beeswax, lanolin, collagen, gelatin, and many others.

The following brands, exclusively distributed by The Creative Beauty Group, are NOT tested on animals:

What do we sell that is not Vegan?

The only brand we currently house that is not vegan, is Pure Organics, and that is because although it is organically based and cruelty free, it is not vegan, as it contains honey, a by-product from bees!

Entity Product Remover, is another non-vegan product, as it contains lanolin, derived from sheeps skin.

Are any of our products tested on animals?

Hell no! For a product to be cruelty free, there should be no form of animal testing at any point in the creation of its products; however, a product can be cruelty-free and not be vegan, a perfect example of this is some of the Pure Organics products previously mentioned.

It is more common than you might realise on just how many cosmetic companies do not test the final product on animals, but do test it along the way or do use ingredients that have been tested on animals by a third-party. The Creative Beauty Group are happy to confirm this does not apply to any of our professional brands, please see the letter of declaration from one  of our major suppliers.

If you would like to know any more information about the brands we represent, please do not hesitate to get in touch, via email info@thecreativebeautygroup.co.uk

Until the next blog, keep it cruelty free, and keep it Creative 🙂 Xx
